Hi there, and welcome to my little corner of the web!  My name is Michelle, and I created this blog to be able to share my thoughts on God and life.  The name “Seeking His Heart” comes from Jeremiah 29:11-14, which says, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.  Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.  And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.  I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity.”  I just love searching the heart of God, because this is where true freedom and life are found!  To share a little bit more about me, here are just a few of my favorite things: wildflowers, vintage farmhouse decor, fireflies, childhood memories, cottages covered in ivy, writing and journaling, reading classic books and Christian books that inspire me, belly laughs, kindred spirits, the smell of books mixed with coffee, beautiful journals, scarves, classic black & white movies, live theater, talking with God when it’s still dark outside, studying God’s Word, making new memories with my family, spending time with my amazing husband Robert, and searching the heart of God.
